Destination Hotels & Resorts Creates Green Meeting Platform

 

Destination Hotels & Resorts has created a new green meeting platform where they offer, "basic principles of waste reduction, water conservation, as well as sustainable food and beverage practices among their customary meeting offerings." However, the meeting and conference center properties in the Destinations Group will also offer different "shades" of green depending on how aggressive the meeting planner wishes to be in implementing sustainable practices in their meeting/event.

Highlights of the green meeting planning platform include recycling stations in all meeting rooms, leftover conference supplies are donated or reused until depleted, and bottled water that is sourced from within 750 miles of the hotels location.
