Event venues across the country are beginning to offer eco-friendly touches to their business meeting and conference services.

The new Epic hotel in Miami, for example, offers a feature called "EarthCare Meetings." The Kimpton's EarthCare package includes recycled paper products, natural food and easy conservation tips. The hotel donates a portion of the proceeds to the Trust for Public Land.

While you are researching the venue for your next meeting, read about the hotel's conservation policies. Many hotels are installing solar pannels, such as the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick.
